I don't know how many of you have seen these shows the past two years but they are awesome for a football fan.
I really wish that HBO would choose the Packers for this kind of thing, it would be verrrrryyyy interesting, obviously I'm a little biased team wise. I LOVED last season with the Chiefs and I LOVE this season so far with the Cowboys. If you haven't seen the show, I recommend it highly...

I believe I heard last year HBO asked the Packers if they would do Hardknocks but the Packers said no.

I think the Packers would make a great hard knocks. Mostly because of the tradition of the organization and I think McCarthy would be good for it.

I remember watching the Jacksonville Jaguars one two or three years back and I really liked it. I think it would be cool to have the packers host it just so we can see whats going on behind closed doors. Also you really get to see the personalities of the players which I really like seeing.

With everything that happened in Packerland during this training camp, the powers that be at HBO are probably still kicking themselves for not using the Pack this year.It would have been great ratings

Yeah but the packers are glad they didn't try that because they are embarrassed enough by what was said about the orgonization they didn't need media coverage of it.
Though maybe the coverage would have helped them save a little face.

The Packers simply don't want to reveal that much information about their team to the public.
It doesn't make sense strategy-wise.
I would like to see it too, but at the same time I am very happy that they refused.

Can you REALLY imagine TT being involved in a documentary? I'm all about the guy -- but he's the wrong personality to watch on television.
