We're having a better 2013 than we did 2012, from a unique visitor standpoint.

From Jan 1, 2012 - Feb 18, 2012 = 4,288 unique visitors
From Jan 1, 2013 - Feb 18, 2013 = 9,450 unique visitors

120.38% increase ... not too bad.

Edit, and since removing DotNetNuke, the site is loading FASTER too!

Do you have browser statistics for those users as an attempt to determine if all of those are actual people as opposed to robots? If even a quarter of those are real though, yippee!

I don't think Google Analytics counts bots as visits. I'm not 100% thought.

that is good news.
I am glad Porforis asked b/c I was wondering the same.

Do you have a stat for new members during the same two time periods?

I thought at one point (maybe it was a loooooong time ago) you tracked visits by browser usage? If nothing else, it was interesting to look at.

phpBB boards don't distinguish bot hits from unique hits. These stats are from Google Analytics which from what I know, they are much more accurate. And yes, we were phpBB (for forums) from the first day until May 2011. From then on, we've been YAF for the forum.

wpr, let me write a query quick to find out. Google doesn't know that information, but I can find it.

That was quick...
Same time frame as earlier.
2012 : 4
2013 : 34

Someone suggested I leave spam bot registers registered, but I've been deleting them instead.

Our next registered person will be 2,500 since the first day PH went live. Just shows how many inactive users we have deleted.
