There were several changes made over the weekend. A couple were made in hopes of improving/stabilizing the page load performance of the site.
Rather than sometimes it loads lightning fast, but most times it takes several seconds ... the goal is to be more lightning fast than anything else. Personally, I like fast.

Since this past Monday, what has your experience been with the site in regards it how quickly it is loading for you?

I've never really had the feeling that it was slow, but it's blazing fast now.

I am kind of particular about speed. I do not like having to wait more than ~1 second for a page to load. The software is very fast, but it's troubling to find a host and configuration that can keep up.
