"Zero2Cool"I don't know why, but I have this feeling were gonna have more than 200 yards rushing or something crazy. A good running game is due.
Couldnt disagree more, though I hope I am wrong.
I think Tampa can be overpowered by a power run game, which we had the last time we were down there (98 1/2 yard drive anyone? Ahman and Najeh getting 90% of those yards? oh yeah).
With our run game the way it is now though? I think their linebackers speed will be to our disadvantage.
Could we run for 200? absoulutely. We are talented enough. I just dont think itll be this week, against this team, and especially, in this heat.

2/3 of the Bucaneers offensive production has occurred after halftime.
They can make adjustments.
The Packers defense in their games has been on the field more in the second half and have given up more yards later in the game.
Check out this Press Gazette article by Eric Goska:
http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080925/PKR07/80925146/1954/PKR03
"Both the Vikings, down 10-3, and the Lions, in arrears 21-10, were playing catch-up in the second half. Minnesota acquired 255 of its 355 yards in the final two quarters. The Lions secured 191 of their total take of 311 yards in the same two periods.
The Cowboys merely turned their productivity up a notch. After gaining 200 yards in building a 13-6 halftime lead, Dallas finished off the Packers with another 253 yards."
Late in the game can the Packers get first downs, keep the ball, run down the clock and keep scoring points? (Are you healthy Ryan holdout Grant?)
Can the packer defense stop the Buccaneers and not give up the big play as they did against Detroit and Dallas?
Especially with a reduced secondary?
The last half of the third quarter and first half of the 4th quarter will be critical.
The Packers having a 4 yard run, an incomplete pass, then a 4 yard 3rd down play for a 3 and out during that time will be very harmful to this team.
McCarthy has to have more of a run up the score mentality and stay agreesive on offense in the second half.

"mi_keys"I think both probably have better defenses than the paper alleges.
Looking at team stats after only 3 games is misleading to the point of uselessness.
One good/bad game or a particular weak/strong matchup skews the total too much.
Anyone here care to defend Tampa's 6th best passing yards?
(It's a direct result of throwing the ball 64 times in one game.)
I don't think this Tampa team is all that strong.
I expect our defense to hold them to 17 or less and the offense to score 21+.
If I didn't have a no-betting-on-the-Packers policy, I'd drop quit a bit of loot on the Packers +1 line.
