Early in the 2008 offseason, Bengals receiver Chad Johnson embarked on an attempt to be traded to any other NFL team (and also the Raiders).
He made it clear that he wants out of Cincinnati, and then he later made it clear that he never wanted to leave.

With the Bengals mired in an 0-4 funk and facing one of the best teams in the league at Dallas on Sunday, Johnson seems to be renewing his effort to leave Ohio.

I tried, Johnson said during a Wednesday conference call with reporters.
I talked to 81 almost every day, man.

And Johnson then made it pretty clear that hes still interested in making it happen.

The Bengals reportedly told Johnson once he re-embraced the team that, if he behaves for all of the 2008 season, they might look into giving him a new deal next year.
Its pretty safe to say that his new deal is now in jeopardy.

There was a time I liked Chad Johnson and actually felt he was okay. I think that was when he was talking about his 'list' which had Al Harris on it and he siad Harris was one of the two top CB in the game.


He's went so downhill since... its a shame.

I don't know though. For a receiver of his caliber and a team that was definitely going downhill...he deserves a new team. However, with his attitude, if he does get traded he should catapulted to the new city as a mode of transportation.

With TO and CJ in the NFL I'd say pretty good.

He deserves the Lions imo. Although I have to admit he can be pretty funny at times.

i would not pay to see these two players crying i want the ball no i want the ball then they slam into each other and neither get the ball,i dont see him in dallas t.o and chad to big heads would not work :icon_smile:
