Back in the 1980's this new to uk sport was shown on TV. Back then we goit the Monday night game on Sunday afternoon after. Hope that amkes sense, effectivly the game was 6 days late nut no internet etc so no harm done. Game highlights & scores from rest of NFL as well as rules etc...
Move foward & a new TV station started up, & it showed NFL games the Sunday night game & the Monday night game BOTH live
I then decided I needed a team to support.
I looked at New England as I live in England but at the time they were winning everything so I said NO
I looked at Raiders but too far south
I looked at Arizona (I worked ofr Arizona Chemical at the time) too far south & too much red in their unifom.
A friedn asked me to look at her team so I looked & liked what I saw. Ageing QB same as my soccer team, only there was ageing centre forward, locally owned passionate all the things as a Geordie I admired & so began my passion for the Green & Gold

wpr;254229But I have to ask who you follow in the Premiere League?
I guess it's Chelsea or Newcastle, good taste in football, so should be good taste in soccer as well.

my son follows Chelsea so I keep an eye on them a little too.
I don't care about Man U.
they seem to be the Yankees of the league.
