I'm sure an automated online draft would be faster. I know at least two other people said they were down during one of the PackersHome drafts. Where they be now?

I would be willing to start it up and commish, but I am already running a couple other leagues and playing in a few more. Given my current heavy work schedule and family issues, I don't have time to set everything up. I can play in one. Has anyone played in an auction league before? I would think they would be the best resource. I'm ignorant on the subject, for the most part.

They are fun, but if you get too many people in a league - top tier players usually demand a very high price tag and it can be difficult to put together a quality team. On the bright side - everyone gets a fair chance to acquire their wanted players - unlike when you pick last in a deep league.
