This is not the 49ers that have had our number. I am sure we will give Kaepernick some confidence with a few nice first down conversions with his legs. I can't see it being a contest at all with how well the Packers offense is playing right now.

This is a game where a lot of adversity will come from the short week and travel out west. I think the staff made the right decision to get there on Friday.

Kaepernick played like absolute shit last week. It will really piss me off if he snaps back and plays decent against the Packers. I really hope Capers comes up for an answer to his running ability, and that he doesn't suddenly get back to pin point passing like that one game where we sold out to stop his running and he killed us passing.
I think it's another game like last week where we outscore them because of Aaron Rodgers. There probably will be a lot of those this season.

West Coast game coming off a Monday night game is going to be rough. On the other hand, the 49ers have had a huge dropoff in talent from the 2012 and 13 seasons. And probably most important is Harbaugh is no longer there to hold Kaepernick's hand.

Cheesey;324419Plus another chance for Aaron Rodgers to rub it in the 49ers collective noses for not picking him in the 2005 draft!
I understand the chip, but I think he made a bunch more money and is in a better place because how things worked out. No doubt a bit painful not doing much waiting for your shot behind Favre, but being the day 1 started I seriously doubt he is the same guy we now see.
I could be wrong, but that is my opinion on it.

After seeing this, I'm going to be pissed if the Packers lost to them.
Also key looks like it's going to be stopping the run (both the RB and the QB) and force him to pass it and hopefully the pass rush can get to him before their targets can beat are DBs.
And they're probably going to be changing up some things on their offense since the Cardinals DBs basically just called their whole passing game out and they probably saw the Packers struggle a little with QB running the ball when they where dealing with Wilson/Lynch.
If someone has enough speed to follow Kaepernick a spy might be nice, but also might be an all out assault on their backfield not letting them have much time to get the ball out of there where Kaepernick would have to quickly read the coverage/attack.
And watch Torey Smith and Vernon Davis deep...

If we run the ball effectively against them, then we'll win without a shadow of a doubt. We must assert our will early and often.
