That Saints game blew up their points for and against haha! Can our offense stay woke? If not, gonna be a rough one.

They just lost to the hapless Chargers at home last week so they are beatable.
With our secondary so banged up, our only hope to slow their offense is to knock Ryan on his ass early and often.

I agree ... its GL to us ... our secondaries really need to be with it to stop the falcons ...
I see this one as a rough one ... and we play in ATL ... good thing is rodgers always seems to do well in domes well at least when there isnt excessive noise.

This game will tell us if we have a top ten defense or not.
And since they have a lousy defense, show us how inept our offense is.

This game will be won on turnovers and with whoever has the best day on special teams.
Matty ice will throw the ball all over the field, but when it comes to the red zone, that is when he is most vulnerable to throwing picks.
Packers take care of the ball, they will win.
First team to 50.
Packers 50 Falcons 49!

While this will certainly be a challenge I can see where playing the Falcons this week could actually be to the Packers advantage in a couple of respects.
First, with the Falcons having a lousy pass defense I can see a continuation of the game plan MM had for the Bears and if they can continue to have that success and keep the Falcons offense off the field eating up the clock it would be to the Packers advantage.
Secondly, the Falcons lost their top RB and it hurt them as they became more one dimensional in the 2nd half and the offense was far less effective. To get to their QB the D needs to get them in 3rd and long and with a solid run D along with their best runner out the Packers can put themselves in position to get
pressure on the QB.
The Packers will need to be better in the red zone. 3's won't win this one.

I got a bad feeling about this game from the standpoint they have a lot of offense... if the defensive front can't dominate then I think their offense could go off. Not counting week 1 (when teams are still getting their stuff together) the only teams to keep them under 30 points were the Seahawks and Broncos, who have very good DBs. And while their defense has given up a lot... it's been against some of the better QBs in the game... and Rodgers might be one of the better QBs this season.
That being said... if their pass defense truly is as bad as their stats or if the Packers finally get things clicking (or a good running game going) then maybe their is a possibility, after all the Chargers did have a big 17 points comeback (I think) and the Falcons are 1-2 at home. Of course not counting week 1, then it's 1-1 with the lost being to the Chargers.
But Rodgers has had great games on this field, including a playoff game, and it's nice for speed and a passing game. Break out Janis/Davis for a deep one or two? and hopefully better pass rush for the Packers.

Last week I said Rodgers would have a good [stat] game, the same applies in Atl.
Part of Rodgers’ problem is that he wants to gunsling: deeper routes, 5 guys in pattern, less running, etc.
But not having a “RB” McCarthy is largely forced to give-in.
Rodgers’ gunslinging wish was granted v. Chicago:
58 throws and 388 yards [includes 2 DPI calls].
It will happen again in Atl.
This will be the biggest test for our 3 headed ILB monster.
They’ll be keying on the backs for either run or pass on 1st and 2nd down.
Lucky Coleman is out.
Freeman and Julio will get some yards; but they cant beat us.
Shut-down Tamme and the cast of other receiving clowns we win this one easy. One of those clowns is the FB, Dimarco; Capers better not fall asleep on this guy.
Speaking of ILB 3 headed monster haven’t heard a word on Ryan’s injury; I guess that means he had surgery today.
