Wow, points for and against really tell the stories of where these two teams have been going this season. I'm figuring timely turnovers will likely determine the winner.

I predict this game be a shootout although if the weathers plays a factor then the team that commits the least amount of mistakes (turnovers, penalties) should win.
Although the giants are a big threat against our secondary i believe the cold weather should somewhat netralize that.
We still need to bring the pressure to Eli though otherwise we will be in for a long day.
Both teams dont have a great running game but I think well have the advantage with montgamery and the emergence of Ripkowski.
And its hard to bet against Aaron Rodgers right now.
Hes playing at an MVP level lets just hope that carries through over the playoffs.
If the defense can force a few punts or get 1 or 2 turnovers then I like our chances.
I am really glad this is at lambeau.
If it was in NY Im not sure Id like our chances.

Agree with all of this.

After Matthews dropped that INT, I figured we'd still pull off a win but my immediate thought was "That happens in the playoffs and they go on and score that TD, we lose.". Time to get your shit together!

What a game, the Giants are an old foe, they are playing well, we are playing well too...

The giants have a quite formidable passing attack, Cruz, Odell, Shepard, they are good, our secondary is bad, heroic, strange.
They also have a good secondary, Apple is a good CB and Rodgers Cromartie is a guy you have to watch, I watched #41 against the Redskins and he is constantly trying to read the QB and looking for an interception, he knows the routes as well as the WRs.

Weather will be a factor, a running game is really important imagining a game in freezing conditions, maybe snow against a team with a capable secondary. Monty and Ripkowski will have to dominate the game and I think they can do it. Allison will be our key target, Cromartie can't cover all our WRs.

The keys to win this game for me are:
1. Scare the hell out of Eli Mannin. Our DL is not playing well, they need to raise the ante, if you get to Eli he becomes agitated, nervous and can make mistakes. Don't let Manning stay calm in the pocket reading the secondary, if that happens his only problem will be to decide which open guy to throw to.
2. Have a running game.
3. Win the turnover battle.

I'm not so sure that being at home is so much of an advantage. The Packers are .500 at home in the playoffs since McCarthy took the reins, compared to 14-2 all-time before he came to town.
