I didn't join this year but my youngest son and I are going to be at the final four tournament in Minneapolis from the fifth of April through the ninth.
I never thought I would ever be doing this in my wildest dreams.

Let me begin by saying I can't stand Bruce Pearl. He's expediency instead of integrity has gotten him into trouble at every university he coached at including when he was an assistant at Iowa back in the 80's. While it is true he has had winning programs I seriously question his morality.
His first wife filing for a divorce because he was cheating on her. He was suspended by the NCAA while at Tennessee.

With that said the kids on the Auburn team are simply amazing. They narrowing beat 12th seed New Mexico State who I picked as my biggest upset. I figured they would not win again. Wrong. Beating # 4 Kansas, #1 North Carolina AND then #2 Kentucky is an amazing feat. They probably had the most difficult route to the Final Four.

Congratulations to the young men at Auburn. Pearl, go eat a bug.

My mom and dad went to a FF. This was before they started to use the domed stadiums. It was quite the event. Mom didn't understand very much about the teams but she knew it wasn't something they would have a chance to do again.
