our defensive numbers have declined precipitously from game one....I hope we don't have the numerous coverage lapses as we have the last few weeks.

Points against looks good but I wonder how long they can they stay in the top 10 points allowed yet in the bottom 3rd against both the run and the pass? Seems like a slippery slope to me. Our pass D in this zone mostly is horrific to watch. Shows how much Pettine's D misses Savage when they can change up the D and confuse the offense. Oakland sure didn't look confused.

It's the big plays bugaboo. Once they get down towards the goal line they don't have as much territory and they do a better job of coverage.
