My ex asked me to sign us up for some run walks to help her get into shape, and then we broke up, haha. This was the first one. I was gonna skip it since we broke up but wanted to do for myself. I'm glad I did it. I got a new personal best time in the 5k. By no means am I fast or anything. I compete against myself. I jogged it in 33:36 which is several minutes faster than my best time seven years ago.

KRK;443400good for you!!!
Although it can be difficult, I is always best to try to have good relationship with ex, esp when kids are involved.
Thanks! No kids, but for over three years I loved and cared for her two kids a they were my own.
I had a lot of anxiety before hand. I didn't want to run into her. Kind of that whole out of sight, out of mind, kinda thing. I didn't notice her, but I just focused on running and keeping a decent pace that didn't make me through up at the end, haha.

I was bummed I didn't see a photo of me. I got an email saying photos were all uploaded and figured I'd take another look. Sure enough, they got this ever impressive photo of me. 🤦♂️
