Not an important story, but just a different one that I haven't heard a lot... I wonder what happens if the uniform gets messed up during a game, or at they mainly fighting for uniform not being correct before the game?

Lamb has been fined twice for having his jersey untucked, $5,150 for the first offense and $15,450 for the second offense, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The NFL triples the amount of the fine with each successive offense, so if it happens again he’ll be fined $46,350.


The NFL also fined Lamb $5,150 for having socks that failed to cover his lower leg in a game.

Lamb has also had a fine for taunting and a fine for an illegal crackback block, for a total of $46,865.

NFL players can appeal fines, either by claiming they did not violate the rule in question or by claiming the amount of the fine is excessive relative to the player’s salary. It is unclear whether Lamb has appealed any of his fines.

On one hand, I totally agree with you... on the other, why is this just that one player? What is he doing that's so different, to get him noticed?

I'm absolutely sure other guys haven't had their jersey tucked at times... Les sure about the socks, but I can't imagine he's the only one... but he's the only one getting fined (that I know about) so may he's doing I a heck of a lot worse? Or maybe pregame, when others look good until they play?

I noticed a number of players from both teams that had their jerseys untucked on Thursday night.
I’ve never heard of a sock issue before.

This thing with Lamb interests me because I've always wondered about a guy with minor jersey violations saying "fuck it," rolling through a season and paying the fines as they go.
