How bad does the NFL want a Patriots/Bucs SB?

I don't know the strength of all the teams and I am not going to develop my own power rankings. There are a couple of teams that kind of stand out to me and I wonder why they are ranked where they are.
It would seem to me that Seattle should be a few notches lower. Perhaps trade places with KC.
Also how can the bares be ranked lower than the win less Lions who they just beat?
Houston at 24? Interesting.

The primary factor into these rankings is team passer rating differential plus a few little other metrics I add in.
Also, sometimes wins/losses don't the whole story. Yes, it is the only metric that matters in the end, but sometimes a team can play someone missing key players or vice versa and skew things.

I am not trying to be overly critical. Just some teams in interesting slots. I doubt there is
a perfect metric ranking system out there.

You can remove that doubt. I've posted the perfect metric ranking system. ;-) You'll see. Every single year one of my top five teams is in the Super Bowl. Buwahahaha

Just thinking outside the box, I wonder if you took your metric and multiplied Strength of schedule (SOS), if it'd make it even better. Of course SOS vs teams with winning records might be best.
Right now the Lions are seriously hurting the schedule of schedule measurements, as three of the easiest schedules face them, and they're not nessarily actually the easiest schedules, just the Lions bring the records really low.

How to calculate that though? Do you do the schedule prior to the matchup? Overall? It's not always who is on your schedule as opposed to when. Think of Packers vs Chiefs. Packers have Aaron Rodgers, that's probably Packers win in landslide.
