While I like Romeo Doubs, I wonder if he gets moved this off-season? I saw somewhere that Seahawks need to drop $27m and they can get $11m freed up by trading WR DK Metcalf. The proposal was Romeo Doubs + 2nd round pick for DK Metcalf.
Another trade avenue is something that just came up. Myles Garrett has requested a trade from the Browns. I wouldn't be shocked if Packers were to pursue that.

Regarding Doubs, do you really think that a guy with two concussions in the same year...one incurred with minimal contact....is going to command anything other than a conditional 7 rounder?
Re Garrett, I would trade him even up for Gary right now.
Better yet LVN and a conditional draft choice.

Do you really think a guy with around two dozen sexual assault allegations would be traded for three 1st round picks and two 4th round picks AND offered a five year $230 million dollar GUARANTEED contract?
I know of a WR who had two concussions in the same season (3rd of career) and received a four year $58 million contract extension while in his final year of his rookie deal. It wasn't even two weeks after said 3rd concussion.
Sep 28 2015 - Ankle Sprain
Jan 10 2016 - MCL Sprain
Oct 16 2016 - Concussion
Sept 28 2017 - Concussion
Dec 17 2017 - Concussion
Dec 29 2017 - Signed a 4 year $58 million contract extension
So, yeah, I believe Romeo Doubs, is worth more than a 7th rounder.
😉 Maybe a 6th! buwahahaha

I like Doubs but he probably doesn’t have a ton of trade value. He hasn’t cracked 700 yards in a season despite there not being another guy on the team putting up big numbers. The aforementioned concussion concerns and getting suspended for a game last year don’t help.
If a team traded for him they would be looking to give him a contract extension since he’s on his final year. So they would have to really love the guy to do that. Otherwise, I think you have to look at it like a one year rental, and while his contract is easy to manage, that probably means it would be tough to get more than a 4th rounder or something like that for him.
If they trade for a WR I could see him being part of the deal, but with Watson’s injury and general uncertainty next year I expect them to keep him. Trading Doubs means the Packers need to replace 2 of their top 3 WRs for the start of the upcoming season. It's not an impossible task but probably not a position Gutekunst wants to be in.
If Watson was healthy and Wicks could catch I think there would be a solid argument to say they should get what they can for Doubs because they're probably not going to resign both Doubs and Watson. But with the current situation, I think he provides more value to the Packers than to another team.
