Justis Mosqueda Several draft picks and players are what it took to land Garrett in our exercise
Obviously, the hot news of the day is that Cleveland Browns pass-rusher Myles Garrett has officially requested a trade to a contender. So who did I turn to? Jared Mueller, the producer of Dawgs By Nature, our sister site covering the Browns.
Final Trade Offer
2026 first-round pick
2025 second-round pick
QB Malik Willis
RB MarShawn Lloyd
WR Christian Watson

Do you think that would be good trade compensation for the Packers to land Myles Garrett?

Why would the Browns want a backup QB, RB that can't stay healthy, and WR that is injury prone and coming off and ACL?
And I bet Browns would want the standard method of trade, where the higher pick comes first, so 2025 would be the 1st round pick.
But I'm guessing it would take at least two first round picks, and maybe more.
Looking back at the Raiders/Bears trade for DE Mack (though I consider Garrett better and Browns don't want to get rid of Garrett, where Raiders wanted to get away from Mack's contract).
What the Raiders received
A first-round pick in 2019, which was used to draft running back Josh Jacobs
A second-round pick in 2020
A third-round pick in 2020
A sixth-round pick in 2019
What the Bears received
DE Khalil Mack
A second-round pick in 2020, which was used to draft Cole Kmet
A conditional fifth-round pick in 2020

I'd package Gary with a pick, but I doubt the Browns would want that contract for that performance especially as I believe they are in a bit of cap hell with the Watson contract.
