Yeah?

Makes sense to me, though Walker as the LT for this season with Morgan and Rhyan as the backups. I wanted to list one other, as they dress 8 OL, but I couldn't think of another that deserves to be listed.

But lets go with the veterans until the young guns earn it.

LT Walker, LG Banks, C Jenkins, RG Rhyan, RT Tom
With developing backups/letting them compete for starting spots in Morgan and Belton

They may move him to guard but moving him inside AND putting him on the other side of the ball seems like a bit of a reach. He already has issues with his feet flipping sides won't help.
We shall see.
With Morgan Belton and Banks starting the line has gotten better.

If they give him all off-season and everything, maybe it won't be too horrible.

Let's get nuts.

LT Jenkins.
LG Banks.
C Tom.
RG Belton.
RT Morgan.

Depends on the reason for the issues with the feet... where my understanding his feet issue was heel clicking trying to keep up with the speed on the outside.

Less speed, he might not still have the issue.

But I'm very interested where they're going to start guys, as who's going to be the #2 LT behind Walker, Morgan? Belton?

Also, at one point, there was this super minor two sentence statement, where Tom has earned being an OT in the NFL, but we might see some positions movement.

So with zero2cool going nuts, how about this one...

Packers 2026 OL:
LT: Tom
LG: Banks
OC: Jenkins
RG: Belton
RT: Morgan

I suppose anything is possible, but why move guys when Morgan started for 3 years at LT and Tom
is outstanding at RT?
Makes no sense.

1) Who's beas?

2) I believe Tom also started at LT for 3 years in college and has actually proven he can play well and stay healthy in the NFL.

3) If Morgan and Belton are going to complete for starting spots at two different spots, wouldn't it be helpful if those spots were next to each other? Like RG and RT, instead of RG and LT?

4) And maybe overall reason, I was playing along with Zero2cool, "Let's go nuts" and list potential 2026 OL possibilities...

5) If it needs to be even more obvious, let's go nuts... then let's re-sign TE Mercedes Lewis and move him to RG, where I actually believe he could legitimately earn one of the top 10 OL spots with his run blocking... though, his pass blocking needs to improve, so maybe he wouldn't nessarily be a starter, but I truly believe that if he wanted to, and was willing to go 100% after this could, could make an NFL roster as a backup depth OL.

And honestly, that might help him make a roster, as teams are allowed an extra game day roster spot, BUT only if they have an 8th OL on the game day roster... if Lewis was that 8th OL, and was used in the U-71 where a 6th OL is used as s blocking TE.

1. Sorry, old fingers
2. You are largely correct with 13 games started at center
3. No, you want to have at least one guy you are sure of on each side.

Yeah?

This is where I'm at on paper as well.
If Belton can truly play to the what we hope for projections, it would be so scarily awesome to watch Josh Jacobs hitting a hole right up the gut without having been friggin' touched in the backfield, for example.
Aka shove it down their f-ing throat theory
Let's go!!!
