I don't know the name of it, but what he does is buys wholesale pallets from business that go bankrupt and then sells it. He drives all over the Country finding deals an what not. This one happened to be in his own backyard. My assumption is he asked someone about it and they probably had a brief blind auction. OR he simply said he'd pay for the loading and transportation of it off the property. Might be surprised how many businesses will take that deal just to save themselves time and money.

Yep, he's selling it (and other artifacts he collected from the Draft) via auction. Proceeds go to Red Cross.
