Jax Ulbrich got QB Shedeur Sanders’s NEW NFL cell number and prank called him. Jax made it seem like it was only Shedeur... which seemed doubtful at the time, as a number of other players were also prank called.

BUT it seems like the kid could of been told the truth, as all the players NFL only phones went out together, to the teams GMs, not coaches... THEN Sanders got a new number by himself, and the report with his new number was all by itself, and the NFL leaked it to all coaches and scouts, not the teams.

So the kid very well might of only had access to Shedeur's number only...

Meanwhile, the NFL ONLY investigated the Shedeur phone number issue... and it's acting as the case is all wrapped up while they actively ignore how all the numbers were leaked or pranked...

So the NFL has fined the Falcons $250,000 and Jeff Ulbrich $100,000, but this wasn't on them... this was on the NFL
1) They did not properly secure Shedeur's NEW number, as they sent it out to everyone... instead of just the proper method.

2) It was not marked confidential like the pervious numbers were, and it should have been.

3) They're failing to investigate how all the other numbers got leaked.

So this has absolutely nothing to do with leaked numbers or prank phone calls, but everything to do with a negative PR story, and the NFL using the Falcons and Ulbrichs as scapegoats, and trying to act like they actually did something about it... when in reality they just ignored most of them.

I don't know about NFL ONLY numbers but pranks happen almost every year. It's never been a big deal until His Lordship fell to the 5th round. Now it's a plot and something sinister.

There are stories out there that the NFL pays for NFL draft prospects to receive a "Draft Phone" which supposedly only the the NFL are supposed to have.

That seems to be false... but was harder to find than I expected

But I guess it's possible the rest are not NFL numbers, or not NFL numbers as far as the NFL can find out. But some scouts, such as John Dorsey are infamous for prank calls.

Conerly also clarified the idea that the league sends out phones (via Boost Mobile) to prospects specifically for the draft.

“Nah, it’s your regular phone,” Conerly said. “That’s why the prank calls happen is because you’re using your regular phone number, you know what I mean? So if anybody just gets your regular phone number, they can call you.”

At least 10 players received or are linked to prank calls.
