Zach Kruse The Green Bay Packers are seeing the right mix of growth and energy out of wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks as he enters a pivotal third season in 2025. Passing game coordinator Jason Vrable believes Wicks -- who led all NFL receivers in drop rate last season -- was pressing too much early in the …

Wicks gets open at an insane rate... I think he was #4 in the entire NFL last year, but he needs to learn to consistently catch the ball to maximize that.

Not to get too excited, but someone posted some numbers comparing Wicks to Adams in the first 2 years, and Wicks compared favorably. That said, Adams famously had a rough start for how good of a player he turned into, so I wouldn’t read into it too much.
That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Reed, Golden, and Wicks are the clear top 3 guys by the end of the year.

I think Adams had a nagging ankle injury year two. He said he should have rested, but with the loss of Jordy Nelson he felt he had to push through.
Wicks seems really good. Catching is about concentration. At least that's what I think.

Adams had that sprained ankle, which I feeling my hurt just by watching him attempt to play on it, and I was considering if someone should be fired for letting him play on it.
His first route cut was AMAZING, his second route cut he was CLEARLY in way too much pain, and didn't look like he should be on the field.
People need to stop comparing Adams 2nd year to anyone that's healthy...

Supposedly Wick was 4th in the entire NFL at getting separation last year ... kid, like Adams, has quick cuts and can get open.
As we all know, Wicks issue is that he drops it way too much after he gets open.

Good point, I forgot about the ankle. Still, I'm cautiously optimistic on Wicks. Hope it comes together for him this season.
