Packers sign No. 54 overall pick Anthony Belton amid league-wide contract conundrum
Belton, the No. 54 overall selection, inked his name on the dotted line for his rookie contract. The deal is worth $8.016 million dollars and 72.95 percent of it is guaranteed—a significant, 11-point increase from last year’s 61.95 percent for the No. 54 overall pick, defensive tackle Michael Hall of the Cleveland Browns. That means Belton’s contract featured $5.85 million dollars in guaranteed money.
