I split this post out because it really bothered me, specifically the perception. A lot of these guys are very nice and don't want to be taken advantage of. If they were confronted with the scenario "hey this guy is going to die unless we get 500 bucks for this treatment, can you help?" I just don't see any of them saying 'No'.

I must have missed the original. It's kind of hard to figure out when it's taken out of text.
But i figure it must be something about a star being fleeced, and didn't pay for something.
If thats what it is, you can bet there ARE vultures out there that will take advantage of someone with alot of money. And thats sad, as it DOES prevent some from helping others because they have been burned before.
