"Chutzpah515"Fact: His throwing has been widely inconsistant throughout the season. Certainly he has done more than his part to carry the offense, but nevertheless he hasn't been playing to his ability, for whatever reason.

He's averaging about 70% completion percentage this year (69% if you want to be more precise) and that is far from indicative of inconsistent throwing. First 6 quarters this season, he was indeed wildly consistent. Since then he has been solid.

He has thrown more INTs than anyone would like, but you have to look at that stat in light of the fact that we are relying on Aaron to generate the vast, vast majority of our offense. You'd expect some more INTs considering we basically utilize a "let Aaron throw" strategy to comprise the offense we generate in the past few games.

"tonyagnese"He had one bad throw today, the under throw to Jennings. Other then that Rodgers was great at usual, his TD passes to Jennings and Finley were both fantastic throws.

Yes, today was his best proformance by far, however it is not fair to bindly pin all the previous offensive struggles to the rest of the offensive unit. Rodgers deserves an equal part of the blame for the Packers stuggles on offense this season.

I don't know... I'm with Twinkie on this one. At half time I went out and did yard work and didn't return till 4th qtr. I don't seem to be too excited about the games this season.
I didn't watch the full game last week either. Once they started comitting all the pennalties last week I opted to get some sleep rather than stay up and watch them self destruct.

Hopefully later in the season they will get it together like they did last year.
At least we are 3-1 right now so that's something. I think the only game we looked good in was the Bills game.

Maybe I was expecting too much from this team also.

Sorry I didn't watch this week's game. I was just saying Rodgers hasn't been carrying the offense alone. He and his recievers have been struggling equally through this season.

So it's his fault the Tackles aged overnight?

Or that our WRs cannot hold onto balls on offense or on STs as KRs?

Or perhaps it is his fault that our starting RB B-Jack is pretty useless on runs?

Or should we blame him that he now has to shoulder most of the load on gaining yards through the air when everyone knows that Rodgers in all likelihood is going to be throwing when he drops back?

My point is that all things considered, it's hard to blame him for his less than glittering start. He certainly can be better, and frankly he needs to be because this team will go only as far as our best player - Rodgers - can take us (especially without any real RB threat).

But he has been pretty good thus far.

No but to say he has played perfectly while all others around him absolutely suck would be incorrect.

It's weird.
I've been feeling something odd this year, too, something like Twinkie and DGB454 are saying.
I keep saying, "I really should be excited about this season, but it's like ho hum.

But I just attributed it to the personal pissoff in the rest of life, my naturally short attention span, early onset Alzeihemer's, or osmosis from my fellow iowa idiots.

I still think this is a team that is going to excite people before all is said in done (assuming Rodgers doesn't get hurt and assuming I'm wrong about the OL). But for some reason I'm having trouble getting into it.

I for one, am not having any trouble getting into this team. The talent level is obviously there and we ARE 3-1, so it's not like our lackluster performances have cost us...yet.

The amount of talent this team has does excite me though, and I expect it to explode and for this team to break out at some point...feel sorry for the team who has to deal with that.

Bjack's got my physical talent than Kuhn, but it definitely seems like Kuhn's more productive.
I wouldn't expect him to be able to get to the corner though.

Why am I the only one who thinks that Kuhn would be just fine as the starting RB?

Or would if one had a better OL.... had to get that :horse:
in there.
