I am more of a "that" person.
I am surprised Z.
I never thought of you as wanting to be "more like FB."

lol okay I'll rephrase the question. :P
How is more like Facebook, or how is it that I want to be more like Facebook? And in what context?
Facebook is PHP, this site is PHP. I was posting about using ASP.NET MVC, which is 'sortof' like PHP, but a lot different, if that makes sense.

Kevin you are so far beyond me it is as if you are a jet at 35,000 feet screaming across the sky at 700 mph and I am just strolling across the parking lot worried about stubbing my toe.
I have no idea how the systems are set up or operate.
I was talking only about the cosmetic appearance.
You said you are thinking about adding "like" and "dislike" to the 10.0 system.
(Something I look forward too.)
I was tongue in cheek saying that I didn't think you would like it if members compared what you do to facebook in any way shape of form.
That's the trouble with being a smart @ss.
Sometimes I am misconstrued.
I didn't intend to get you confused so early in the morning.
Just a gentle jab to say, "good morning.
Hope you have a wonderful day."

o_O, I get it now. Yeah, I'm not good at picking up tone via text. Some are, I simply just fail at it, lol.
I'd like to see who liked what comment rather than an accumulative total. Look at my total for instance. It shouldn't be like that. There's no way I've posted 300+ comments that people "like".
A lot of the things I do go vastly unnoticed, which I kind of like it that way. But for those who do write articles, add videos, add off site articles, etc ... I think they should be acknowledged in some fashion too.
Kind of leaking into the Kudos thing. I like the concept, but won't play with it too much until I figure out how to get it working within the forums. As you said, going to ones profile to give them a Kudos, pain in the ass, and heck, deserves a Kudo's of its own.

Applause points give multiple people the opportunity to express appreciation for a single post.
And they're not limited to posts anyway.
I've given people Applause points for other contributions before -- or just because I felt like it.
