I wasn't referring to signatures and avatars specifically. I don't see any reason to hotlink those, since all you have to do is upload it using the appropriate menu.
I was referring to graphics in threads that are hotlinked using the [img] tag.
Some of them haven't been showing up periodically.
EDIT: Wow, I just now realized for the first time that MY signature graphic is hosted at Photobucket. It never occurred to me to check before. Now I feel dumb.

Avatar... no problem.. a convinent way to post and host.
Signature.. well a bit more cumbersome.. however with a dedicated thread, as such, to dump them in..
It isn't terrible. Well that is now that the host is snappy again.. that is. ;)

If a hotlinked graphic doesn't show up, I don't think that's an issue with PH.com
rather more possibly the item has a refusal for allowance of being hotlinked.

Since the change to the new host the subdomain http://forum.packershome.com no longer maps to the forum.

I'll fix this when I get home.

I've been cleaning the database and changing a few things all day ... apparently disabling the user agents yields that response.

1and1.com - 200MB database limit and we're near 500MB
GoDaddy.com - 200MB database limit and has more than 4,000 websites on a server
Arvixe.com - Inconsistent and unreliable customer service, if they even answer.
Must check these two out.

GoDaddy is not an option for a forum, as you well know.
I liked DreamHost when I was with them.

I'd recommend my host, Site5, but you are dependent upon Windows with the forum software you chose.
