"wpr"Let me esplain Lucy...
Because it is warmer and there is no wind in a dome the ball tends to carry further than it will outside on a cold day.
I only factored in the cold into my comment not the wind.
I do not know if there will be a lot of wind or not.
I do not know if GB will be kicking with the wind at their back or not.
10 day forecast says "21" and Chicago is called the "Windy City".

Windy City was originally a political term not weather related.
"All the hot air blowing from the politicians".

"Cheesey"Doesn't matter about the Seahawks......the Bears still had to beat them. Yes, i expected the Bears to beat them, but they still had to actually do it.
Now Lovie's nightmare has come......to have to play the Packers for a shot at the Super Bowl.
The ONLY thing that would have made it better would be if it was played here.
I saw on TV where ticketking had tickets in the endzone starting at $500.
Wish i could afford to go!
Like was said.....i hope Packer fans FILL the "mistake by the lake".
Did you hear the "KUHHHHN" and "GO PACK GO" chants on TV from the Atlanta game?
Where did you go to see the ticket costs. I am in if I can get them anywhere close to $500.

We were speaking about the NFC CG in Chicago.
Cheesey said GB has a sot at the SB not the SB tickets were $500.

You can't ask for much more. You can't put a price on this as a fan.
We all know the strongpoints, weakpoints, everything. We have had a season to see it.
It is the Packers vs. a noble enemy. Our oldest enemy. The Packers and the Bears would not be who they are without eachother.
This is what it has come down to, two of the most storied teams in league history slugging it out.
Seriously, the Bears deserve respect for what they have done this season. Coming into it, how many of us thought they would do well to finish 3rd in the division?
With that being said,
"Let the ghosts of Lambeau join the new breed to run roughshod like meteors over the soldier turf"
My, I feel poetic. Won't give up my day job though.

What amazes me most about this weekend's match-up is that they have never met, none of the teams in the NFC North (And I will throw Tampa in too.) have met for the NFC Championship or in the old NFL title game either.
Of course the playoffs in the olden days were much different.
Not as many teams in the playoffs.

Yeah, the Packers and Bears have both had some good teams over the years, but they have hardly ever been good at the same time. The only season I can think of offhand where they both made the playoffs was 2001, when the Bears went 13-3 and won the division and the Packers went 12-4 with two victories over the Bears and got a wild card. In the playoffs that year, the Packers beat the Niners at Lambeau then got toasted by the Rams, while the Bears lost their first playoff game to the Eagles at Soldier Field.
This is why Packers-Vikings has been a much better rivalry for the past few decades. Next Sunday's game, regardless of the outcome, will inject some new life into the Packers-Bears rivalry.
