"Tezzy"So if I don't quote the entire article am I going to get yelled at?
I disagree completely with posting entire article text for my own journalistic reasons.

I have the same feelings, however, I like archiving articles and nowadays, sites change software so often and their links die, then you're left with nothing.

I vote for "D".
oh wrong thread.
It is interesting you take the approach of posting the whole article.
other sites say that they can not do so and only want a short synopsis.

(I like your way better.)

something else to add to the "how to" Zero is it would be nice if the poster cleaned up the quote.
Delete the commercials that can get stuck in the middle of the story along with the links to other stories and tags for photos that don't follow from their site to this one.

Absolutely not going to get yelled at. This is IF one chooses to post the full article. Considering how sources often change their links, that's the only reason I like full articles posted, so we can archive them. However, if it's preferred to post a summary of the article, or a paragraph, that's even great.

I agree wholeheartedly with wpr here.
I always do my best to eliminate the filler material, though a phrase or two slips by me now and then.

only the resident pedant (i.e. yours truly) should be allowed to NOT delete filler material.
