Hmm, apparently we won't be able to use the "Replace Words" feature. That's what changed the tags in the signature, which seems really stupid. It's a replace words for the posts, not signatures. Gonna have to tweak that.

Agreed... and that is pathetic it looked outside the text fields of posts to replace.

I have forums, topics and posts all figured out and ready to be coded. I'll probably do the coding this weekend or Memorial Day weekend.

Crazy enough, GETTING all of the posts is going to be the hardest part since there's 179,000 of them. I'll have to do it in chunks.

The main hang up now is figuring out how to import all the users from the PH site to the new site. Things will go pretty smooth after that I predict.

Good News! Someone within the DotNetNuke community created a module to import users from an excel spreadsheet. I've tested this out and it worked great, although the registration date was not carried over. I'm looking into the source code and will be modifying that. I just need to figure out a way to mass update UTC time to 2011-05-13 12:15:15.123 format. :)

So I need not play with the DB compares then.. plan was tomorrow AM.

Got pulled into a optimization program / equation for lineal board footage and well that has consumed my logical thoughts for two days.. wrapping that up this morning. And they said I wouldn't need all the trig, algebra and geometry way back in high school. Had to drag out some old texts for guidance.. lol.

You can play with it if you'd like. I have, it's fun, lol.

Right now, I just need to set aside some time to write the code down to import users, forum categories, topics and posts.
Then use the SQL queries I made the other night to pull down all of that information.

For some funny reason the phpMyAdmin has an issue with exporting 179k rows of data via memory. So I have to write a PHP 'function' to query the data and then write it to a CSV file for importing.

Pack93z;205To assist everyone in changing the editor profiles available.. basically until it is decided on which on to use.. change to different post editors and give feedback here on which seems the best for you and why. Additionally which ones suck. ;)
To change the editor... the buttons above text as you submit a post (in case you were wondering)... here is how..
Click "My Profile" in the tools menu above.. See Below in Red.

Once here.. click Edit Profile .... See below in Red
[/img]
Once here scroll down until you find the "Select your Editor" pull down... See Below in Red.

Pick on then go and make a post.. play with the new options and post feedback.
<span style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 18px;">Thanks.
