I just now noticed this thread. I had been using Firefox for the past several days, which works for this site, but I don't like it quite as much as Safari.
I just emptied the cache in my Safari, and even reset it just for good measure, and it still doesn't work any better for your site. There are still just as many dark blues and purples and pinks in the click-on text.
I have a Mac OSX. Maybe that's part of the problem. Thanks for trying to resolve this, though.

Site works fine in Safari for me, though a bit slow to load at times.

The majority of my posts are from my iPod touch and I have Safari on it.
I've never experienced a problem and am not right now either.
All is good.

Safari works fine for this site now, and it has for the past year or so. No more dark blue or dark purple fonts.
One problem I have, which may not have anything to do with Safari, is the poster (I think it's Porforis) who has that moving picture of Larry Fitzgerald at the bottom of all of his posts. That causes my computer to slow down every time. Maybe it just takes up too much bandwidth. I have a medium speed DSL Internet connection.
