While writing a post, if a certain time has exceeded and you click Post or Preview, the content you wrote disappears. IT'S AWESOME!

Must find that setting and kick it in the ding ding.

I had it retitle itself while relying to a previous thread, requesting you to add one.. but I thought it was something I was doing.

This is not technically a "time out" issue but I have noticed something when I am posting.
Every once in a while I go to add a reply post to a thread.
When I select "post" the site tells me to add a title to my post.
I look around and discover that the site has changed my reply to a new topic post.
I thought I had done something wrong. After all the reply and new post are side by side.

It just happened a few minutes ago and I released what must have happened.
I was quoting someone else's post in my response.
Another person responded before I did.
Since the posts are numbered the site can't accept mine next next post so it kicked me out into a new topic.
At least I think that is what is happening.

This has happened at least 3 or 4 times this week.

Pretty much the same thing that wpr said, but it has also happened to me without quoting someone.

This has happened to me several times as well.
I figured it was because I was still clicking on the wrong button (since they're still right next to each other).

I went back and reread Zero's post again.
He is looking for its ding dong and he will kick it for us.
I misread or misunderstood you the first time Zero.
Wasn't the first time for me and won't be the last. #-o
