I was sooo upset when Sharpe learned of the severity of his neck injury.
If we had Sterling Sharpe throughout the 90s, we would have won more than just one SB.


I don't think people realize just how good the guy was.
He was the best possession receiver I've ever seen.
You throw the ball in his area, it's his.
He has the speed of a WR and the strength of a TE.


He and Favre also had a chemistry that Favre only shared with one, possibly two other WRs, but Sharpe was better.
When a play broke down, Favre and Sharpe both knew what to do.
So many of that magic wasn't scripted.

Sadly, my #84 jersey is very worn down and I don't wear it any more.
