GAMEDAY!!!!!!!!!

I see this 34 - 24 to the Pack

Will not be in chat tonight as kick off is 1:30AM here in the UK and the game is live on TV.

Will grab a few hours sleep, get up at 1AM for the build up and as soon as the game clock hits zero at the end of the 4th back for more zz's before getting back up again at 7:45 for work.
Still it's a Friday though so only 1 day in work to survive.

I just feel we have too many offensive weapons and an excellent D for the Saints to be able to keep up with us if it got to a shootout.

I see most of the Saints scoring being mop up scores late in the game.

The Saints know we have Finley returning so I am convinced they will try to take him out of the game, but because of this it will free up Jennings and Nelson to have a big game.
If we can get the passing game going early it should allow Grant and Starks to get good gains in the 2nd half.

12 1/2 hours to go until kick off.

GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My biggest worry is the run defense.
I predict that the run D will be tested early and often.
I hope that the offense actively tries to get short passes and runs early in order to establish some rhythm and control the clock somewhat.
I remember early last year I thought there was too much emphasis on taking deep shots at the expense of moving the ball.

beast;191448I think this game could seriously come down to turnoffs and how does the GB pass protection hold up against the NO pass rush?

I think you've just answered your own question

And I will not as well.. but that is the norm..

It is distracting to be in chat... your all welcome to a spot on the couch here.. help yourself to a drink and grub, but I make no promises on my behavior, graciousness as a host and outbursts during the game.. lol.

Submersed in the game... just how I am wired.

Hence why it should be paramount, with our unsettled line play, that we mix in the run and prove at least adequate with it to assist the line in the opening game.

Easiest way to neutralize a pass rush is to run or screen upon them.. while I don't respect the NO pass rush like other contenders in the NFC.. just the same I would like to see a bit more balanced attack, assisting the line in protection and keeping Rodgers cleaner and really opening up the passing attack even more. It simply would be a unstoppable offensive team if we can, albeit late last season we were close to it sans the balance.

I want to be a dominant football team from start to finish this season.. creating a imposing swagger upon the opposition even before the opening kickoff.. a team that creates doubt in hatching the run/pass defensive philosophy of the opposing coaches game plan for the weekend tilt.

We have the potential to be such a team.. I want to see it realized. [grin1]

The smiley was intended to convey some facetiousness. [flapper]

I myself often ignore the chat room for long stretches at a time, because it does get distracting.
It is often ahead of the feed, even when I am watching it on live TV, and that can spoil some of the most exciting plays.
Plus I like to hang out with the other fans watching the game at the bar.

I have always just found the explanation "because it's on live TV" to be odd, that's all. There seems to me to be plenty of better reasons not to be there. [down]

I'll be there (symbolically.)
Got any chips?
What kind of pop do you have tonight?
And most importantly, what can I bring?
[grin1] Ahh if I didn't have to work tomorrow .....

Yeah I try to go to the Chat Room.
I am too old.
(Thus my avatar.)
It gives me a headache sometimes and I get distracted and miss too much of the game.
I have used it during breaks like halftime.

Glad Zero gives us many ways to express ourselves.

Oh I think it is an awesome feature for the site.. and does give many an enjoyable experience. It is not that I am opposed to it.. it just doesn't fit my overall makeup.

I am not being anti social.. the game is one of the few times I demand it be my down time.. unplugged so to speak. That an dart night in the falls. [grin1]

I spent all my money the past weekend so I'll be flat broke until the next paycheck.
That means no bar for the Zombieslayer's and lots of beans & rice.

We'll be in the chat room.
Or why did I say "we?"
I'll be in the chat room.
Mrs. Z will be making me drinks.
Unfortunately, there will be no topless women tonight.
Dammit!

Well, at least I get to see the Packers beat the Saints.
