"longtimefan"I love the fact Andrew can and will bring some of this stuff out now..( can't wait to hear his take on Brett if he does come clean)

I feel
the need to toot my own horn cuz for a LONG time I kept saying that Andrew had a huge hand in dealing with free agents but it seemed like no one believed me

How could anyone not believe you? The dude was the financial man!! lol Do people actually think that Ted writes up the contracts???

Just finished reading the article. Good read. I hope Brandt continues to write these type of things. It's nice to have a 'insider' give his take that is not afraid to put his name to his words. Like, an 'unnamed source'.

I think we all knew that Ted wanted him back. We just didn't want to break the bank for the guy.

That surprised me too. It would've been way too much. I'm glad the Texans outbid them.

That was only if he was healthy enough to be on the active 45. Otherwise it would have been $5 million. Which I think a chunk of that would have been a considerate portion of a thank you for what you've done for us type money.

Thanks. I read the article a few hours ago and had forgotten about that detail.

"bigfog"

We struggled for a while last season without Ahman until Ryan Grant came into his own with his stellar play, earning a stunning contract after limited experience.

To me, this sounds like Brandt thinks the Pack overpaid. Is this sour milk, or just a result of the Favre fiasco? What do ya's think?

edit: yeah, I know I f'd up the CODE, but I'm hammered. Cut me some slack.
