Wade;201088Wouldn't it be cool if Grant had a game like he had against Seattle in 2007?
[grin1]

(And, if I recall correctly, he's had a couple of his best (i.e. 150-ish yards, 25-ish carries) games against Chicacgo, hasn't he?)

He seems to play very good against Chicago

12/23/07 - 14/100/1 TD
11/16/08 - 25/145/1 TD
9/13/09
- 16/61/1 TD
12/13/09 - 20/137/2 TD
9/24/11 - 17/92

Here is my Christmas Wish List...

Win big, or win ugly. Just win.

No single individual on the O-line gets bitched at for a holding call at all.
Do the job of course, but if beat, cheat.

If you are beat bad and he has a clear path to the QB, hold him, or bring him down, even by a face mask if nessasary.
Protect Aaron Rodgers.
Better to take the penalty and bring the ball back ten or fifteen yards then have Aaron walking again in ten or fifteen weeks.

That is all...

C'mon RP you are asking for a Christmans Miracle if you think players will not be bitched at on this forum.
[lol] [lol]

Would be nice if Seattle would upset The 49r's on Christmas Eve, then beating the Bears would not be a priority, that is my Christmas wish.

Anybody else scared that Luke McCown is gonna have a good night?
He's a veteran QB unlike Caleb Hanie and I can see him playing good.
I hope not but it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

The important thing in this game is to keep Rodgers healthy. Our make shift O-Line is going to have it's hands full with Peppers and company. If it means you've got to modify your game plan to keep an extra TE to block, do it. Definitely would like to establish some sort of running game because of how the offensive line will be, and getting Starks back will help, but I honestly will be surprised if we can get much going in the run game against the Bears front seven.

Defense just needs to do it's job. Orton has at least shown signs of being a competent QB, so it's not overly surprising he torched our defense last week considering he played us earlier in the year with the Broncos. Not really sure what McCown has left in the tank, but he hasn't seen much action in awhile. Defense should be able to at least get a couple of picks in this game imo.

Ask and you shall receive.

2007, he didn't play the first game.
2nd game, 14 carries for 100 yards and a TD

2008 - 25 - 145 - 1 TD
25 - 61 - 0 TDs, however 3 catches and 1 TD receiving

2009 - 16 - 61 - 1 TD
20 - 137 - 2 TD

2011 - 19 - 72 - 0 TD

So yes, if you play fantasy, Ryan Grant vs da Bears is your man.

Packers/Bears week and usually anything can happen.

Just please protect Rodgers and please find some friggin' way to get pressure on the quarterback. Anyone can stand in a pocket for 5-7 seconds while their receivers get open and throw the ball to wide open guy. The end.

They do this, big win. I think the Packers take their frustrations out on this tail-spinning heap of a team.

Packers- 31
Bears- 10

Houston is going to lose some ground. They had a 81 on offense and allowed a 101 on D. Probably not enough to drop them under New Orleans though.
