Just on the Lions forum. They actually believe that part the reason Rodgers is inactive is because of Suh looking for revenge? Revenge for what? Him playing mediocre football through that whole game (and most of the season)and not even getting close to a sack? Revenge for loosing his cool? I don't understand.

I do like the Lions(2nd favorite team) but the fan support for Suh over there no matter how he acts or how bad he plays is puzzling. I supose it's just seeing things through fan colored glasses. We do it here to I guess.

Well I just saw Eric Walden nullify the one sack that we had on the day....So'to had Stafford on the ground and Walden jumps on him and gives the Lions a first down.

Then, on a play that the ball was blown dead for a false start/delay of game, Stafford continues to play after the whistle and throws the ball to a receiver, yet they throw a flag on Desmond Bishop for hardly slapping him on the chest.
Of course, Stafford acts like he just took a shot from Muhammed Ali and goes flying.
What a bullshit call, why don't you just let the Lions win the game, refs?

Nonstopdrivel;201592I think this is going to be a painfully boring game.

Sucks might be the wrong word.

He is, at this point and likely the rest of his career, best as a dime back. To ask him to play play Nickel or (worse) start, you are in serious trouble. He gives you tremendous effort, his ability to understand the game has improved leaps and bounds, is very versatile, and is generally going to be in okay position. Can't ask more than that of a guy who should be nothing more than dime back. Of course, being Nickel today was putting him into a role that he isn't appropriate for so it's not surprising to expect him to give up plays.

On a different note: was it just me or did anyone else see Aaron calling plays from the sidelines? Wouldn't surprise me if McCarthy allowed him to do it.

That certainly was one of the most exciting games of the season in my eyes.
And I thought it would be a letdown.

I agree with you.
He shouldn't be any more than a dime back.
When he is in the game, he is always giving up big plays or plays that keep a drive alive.
I'm not trying to hate on him too much, but he can't be depended on.
I'm not saying he isn't a valuable player for special teams or a dime back, but I'd like to see him on the sidelines as much as possible.

And yes, I also saw Aaron calling plays.
It got me to wondering if he is going to try and be a coach after his career is over.

*EDIT*

McCarthy:
"Aaron called plays in the entire first half."
He said he wanted his head to be in this game, so he let him call plays.

Holy smokes! I thought the people in the chat were joking when they said that it was [ar] calling the plays.

I gave credit to the wrong person.
Sorry [mm].
I'll now turn over all the compliments I gave in the chat about the playcalling to [ar].
