This will be an interesting one... I would have rather faced the Falcons, and unless the Giants game against the Falcons was a fluke, a multidimensional offense and a defense that can get pressure with their front four will challenge the Packers. The Packers have been able to get away with bringing their B game and winning a handful of times this year, but this is the playoffs. If both teams bring their A game, Packers win by 7, say 34-27 which will be my overall prediction. ARod 25-38, 310 Yd, 3TD 1INT, Packers with two takeaways.

If Tebow put up 300 yards 2 td's on Pitsburgh's defense ... then AR should easily put up 400 yards 4 tds ... Not worried, Greg Jennings back will get them off guard.

Goddddd, I did not want to play the Giants.
They are dangerous, they either stink or look unbeatable.
Hopefully the stinky team shows up.

rabidgopher04;202269The dolts on FOX after the Falcons-Giants game were saying how the powerful Giants defense could overtake the Packers. Then next they starting talking about the 49ers-Saints game and how defense might not be enough to win. I'm not sure why defense would be important against the Packers, but not against the Saints. Idiots.
Last week Billick was talking about how the Lions game was going to be such a ground game because of the weather. At the end of the game they were talking about how wrong he was. Then they went right into how the next game would be such a ground game because of the weather, no matter who we played.

ya I have watched their last 3 games - they look tough ... defense, running game and now passing game ... only thing I laugh at is their STs (lol blackmon)

The difference in my opinion is that the Giants can get into a shoot-out if necessary, where the 49ers do not have the team to put up the 30 points they may need to win the game againts the Saints.
I don't have a good feeling about the Giants game.
I hate playing a team with some momentum and swagger going in.
Even though some of the teams they beat down the stretch were in free-fall mode ('Girls and the Jets) they still have amped up their pass pressure.
Hopefully our O-line is up to the task of keep ARod up-right next Sunday.

I look at it this way:
if we're on our game and firing on all cylinders, we can't be beat.
The Packers beat themselves when they lose, so what difference does it make who we play?
The O-line will be back at full strength for the first time in 10 games.
G-men will still have to blitz to get to Aaron, and then they're dog meat.

I totally agree.
This is where this thread and the home team advantage thread intersect.
I am hoping for a nice day in GB next weekend so Aaron can burn the Giant secondary when they send in their blitz packages.
Praying for no drops from our WRs and TEs.
