G-Force;209306Picks like yesterday and today should patch up this run defense and pass rush very well. I don't want to jump to conclusions as they haven't played a single down of NFL football, but these are some quality players with the right skills to fit the Packers needs.
indeed.

Absolutely. Thinking we have some opportunities to add to the bounty on DL/OLB. Our pass rush should be way, way better. Nice start to Day 2.

They should really let Pickett go back to nose and then use Worthy and Raji in the 2-4-5 dime package.
That is a lot of beef in base defense to protect Hawk and Bishop.

This guy looks a lot like Jolly to me but even more disruptive. Great pick. Looks like a freaking beast. Worst defense in the league and our first three picks are all defense. Love it.

This is the guy I was hoping for.
Now for a safety and I have no clue who it should be.
What ever Ted does now, in that I have trust.

He should give Neal a challenge for the starting position!

If he's competing against Neal for a starting spot... something is seriously wrong because Neal is not on this team at the start of the year. Also, Neal's performance last year would suggest he should be competing for limited playing time, not a starting role.
Frankly, I don't think it's a stretch to say Jorel Worthy is the starter on paper for our base-D right now. Our D-line was lacking talent that badly.

I would like to believe that the NFL structure around Jerel will bring out his best.
He will get in better condition and be able to not have to take as many gassers on the field.
Motivation can bring a lot out in a kid.
Trgovac combined with Raji and Pickett there to mentor Worthy could make for good stuff.

all_about_da_packers;209302You have to like Bill Polian calling Worthy "a force".
This move fills a much needed spot on the D-Line. You honestly cannot complain about the position they chose to address. Guessing that Ted saw a run coming on D-linemen, and decided to move up because the trade made sense (a 4th to move up that much? Not bad) and there was a guy he quite liked. The huge positive on this guy - knock on wood - he does not seem to have an injury history to him. [grin1]
Off topic, but Polian called Mychal Kendricks bloodthirsty. That was the line of the night. I wish Hawk had that in him.
