Wow, I ended up going to watch the game at Applebees because I am too cheap to have fancy cable, I don't have friends, and everywhere else was full.
I assumed that being in MN I would be the only one there for the Packers.
It wasn't until I yelled out loud during the fake field goal that I realized everybody else at the bar had cheered too =d> .
Anyways, it was definitely worth the effort to see the game, night and day difference from the 49er game.
What sucks about thelong week now until the Seahawks game is that I have to wait so long before I can see which defense shows up - the lackluster, finger pointing week 1 squad, or the hungry, intense week 2 squad.
I was also really surprised that the Bears didn't try to run more often - I'm sure the Seahawks won't make the same mistake.
Overall, I this was a fun game to watch, hopefully we have many more like it this season.

was there for the fun.
Took my Bear's loving friend to the game.
I have been wanting to get him to GB for a lot of years.
He came.
He saw.
He was defeated and went home.

Zero2Cool;217355I didn't know NFL did this - link. It's a PDF of all of the game stats.

yeah I have been looking at the gamebook for 3-4 years on the NFL site.
Before that I was looking at it on the Packers site.
It seemed a little easier for me to find it on the NFL page.

16 is new.
I love it.
Every week I wonder how many snaps a players is out on the field.
Unless someone posts it on your board or I read about it in an article I never know.

Jay Cutler, once again has proved to me; he is who I think he is. He lacks the ability in the clutch to deliver. We exploited that.. and he folded for the most part in that game. Screaming at his players.. shoving them. Pouting in the post game interview (so of those questions were ridiculous).. he is what he is. A soft composure, he is tough, takes the hits, plays with emotion. But like McNabb lacks that composure to get it done with the chips down.

late in the game I leaned over to my friend and said Cutler seems to get rattled.
he bristled and said he doesn't get rattled.
After another sack or two and running for his life a few times.
I said I guess you are right.
he does take a lot of hits and keeps coming back.
What I wanted to say but couldn't because he is such a good friend and I won't trash talk him at all (Did I mention he is my minister?
It's a bad combination to talk smack to your pastor.) was that a lot of those passes sure looked like desperation tosses to me.

Overall a very pleasing game, yet much room for improvement. The best part was the wonderful improvement of the D. I'm hoping it was because some of our young players are developing, I saw/heard Worthy's, Heyward's, McMillian's and Daniel's names mentioned on good plays, and also better communication/teamwork. I hope and expect that all this will continue to improve. The highlight was the field goal fake. We got some revenge for some of the gimmick plays the Bears did to us over the years. The one I remember most against us was when Dickta was coach, they made like a player on the punt team was running off the field, then he set as a wide receiver just in bounds, and caught a wide open pass because nobody covered him. The Bears were much better than us then and would have won the easily without that so it did little more than embarass us. This one/ours had a bearing on the game, it really helped us gain momentum in a tight game and was a good "punch to the solar plexus" to the Bears. Driver's TD was great. The O is still a long way from playing to their potential. Mental errors and drops by veterans unacceptable. We have good enough players on the O line that we should be able to convert a reasonable number of 3rd and 1 or 2 with the run game, but we aren't even close. I believe it important for us to be able to do that, not only to convert, but to set up play action off of that. Very happy with the results though, I really think it should and will continue to get better.

Charles WoodsonWe got a laugh out of it, really. It was funny. They do have some big receivers over there but they’re not fast receivers. There’s no Calvin Johnson on that team, that’s going to stretch a defense. Yeah, there are some big guys, physical guys, and they like to push and pull and grab and get behind guys, but we weren’t going to let that happen, so it worked in our favor.
