Kevin,
Shawn did an excellent job in his summary.
Being mildly dyslexic it is hard and often frustrating to read a long post.
If I get behind and there are a couple of pages of replies I only skim (at best) the posts.
I know Wade has some excellent thoughts and ideas but I simply can't absorb it like I can a 2-3 sentence post.
So when I read articles by others I try to acknowledge their effort but I typically don't remember all they said.
I often have to go back to re read it a few times in order to reply to the post. (Like I did here then decided not to comment on everything he said or you said.)
If there were 50 people posting every day I would probably gravitate to one corner with less activity. I have noticed that I did that on an Univ of Illinois board.
There is too much activity on the basketball and football forums for me to get real involved so I pick a few smaller threads and when there are too many replies I stop watching.
They also have a general forum for sports and one for everything else.
I prob spend as much time in those two as I do the ones that are more popular.
I know original articles are interesting and they are certainly a lot of hard work.
But since we don't have access to Uncle Ted or the players they lack a little credibility.
Over this past season I brought in a few of these kinds of articles from other sources just to help stimulate conversation and they got slammed more often than not (One of them being Bleacher Report.) so I don't post their stuff as much.
All in all what ever you decide I will support you.
I personally think you need to spend more time with your family especially your new little girl.
But it is not for me to tell you what you should do.

I'm more interested in having more comments per day than bringing new articles aboard. As you and Shawn have said, it's easy to skim them over, or maybe they did such a good job you have nothing to comment on other than 'i agree'. That's why you get people in this world like skip bayless. They stir things up which creates a discussion.
That is my chief goal ... a good healthy discussion of the Packers (and other things). However, without new members replacing the old ones, I will once again be talking to myself. Lemme tell you, that was interesting the first few months while archiving articles, but it got old.
Wayne, I noticed the stuff you brought over and thought that was great. Slammed? Bleacher Report slam was probably me saying it's nothing but a slideshow, which it is and I think they are garbage, lol.
No worries on the family front. They get tired of my attention pretty quick, lol. Scarlett is with her mom and I'll see her a few times a week. Keiana I have basically full time and she's a full time job. Rebecca I don't get to see at all. Lydia only shows up when she's in trouble (cuz mom sends her to my house then) or she needs money. So, Keiana and Scarlett are my two with the most focus as I have the most input with them.

No. I know you commented on the slide show. A few times I copied and pasted each page of the slid show here to make it read easier.
But others (I don't remember who at this time) did like the amateurish nature and opinions of the stories.
I think it was back during the draft or TC period.

Oh. I know Rourke used to do that all the time. Drove me nuts. Once in awhile, sure, everyone has someone they dislike or what not. But I kept telling him that if he was gonna bash every writer then he should step up, write his own so we could all read worthy material. He would laugh and say he didn't have time to. lol silly bastid!

I've been bouncing around to other Packers' sites and I think maybe the 'build from within' is gonna be the best way to ensure a smooth gradual increase in comments. The Twitter/Facebook thing, hopefully that does the trick. Maybe I'll hide behind the curtain and focus my time more on making PH a good site, than posting another 20k times. Hopefully by the time I'm done, you and others will still be here, lol.
