Pack93z;244623Excellent.. so when Lacy busts out.. we at least have a back to fall back upon. [grin1]

Maybe.. just maybe, Mike McCarthy and company are serious about establishing a running attack that can be counted on at different times within games.. add a bigger center and we might have something.

Pretty much what I was thinking too. I could see Johnathan Franklin playing more than Eddie Lacy.

This guy looks quite quick in the highlight reel ...

wonder if we'll get rid of all our other backs and keep our 2 new backs and let em rip? ...

be a nice combo - speed and power.
Both in the I formation :)

Mike FlorioSo with Franklin and Lacy (wasn’t there a cop show by that name?), the Packers have a couple of new toys for an offense that typically passes to set up the pass.
Though there could be an issue with getting everyone enough reps and touches to keep them happy, the Packers have addressed a chronic need in a big way.

And don’t be surprised if it’s Franklin, not Lacy, who emerges as the better NFL player.

I think this most likely going to happen.

Eddie Lacy might replace Kuhn.

But they're both talented runners, receivers AND pass protectors.
Franklin might need a little work, but I'm excited.
Very excited!

Dude, we're going to be like a fucking freight train ripping through the rest of the NFL on our way to about 8 more Lombardi Trophies... ![thumbup]

Kuhn's getting to be 30, no?
Thought he was losing a step late last year.

You bring up a good point. With these two guys added to the group everyone on the team in that group is on notice for sure.

ya I agree - he didn't have a great year last year ... still don't want to discount him thou - he was a good run blocker and short yardage guy (lots of nice TDs)

This could be my favorite pick of the draft.
Hard to pass on Lacy earlier I understood them taking him but getting both of them was amazing.
I would if every once in a while they will go with both of them in the backfield.
Should have have double TE or 3 WR when they do?
