He reminds me of Charles Lee, if that means anything, and people remember who he was.

I like the pick... but in the highlight reel, a guy with that speed in the 40 and the level of competition.. I would have guessed he would have gotten more separation in routes.. has all the physical tools.. be interesting to see how he develops. Teddy fishing for his next WR steal.

I posted in another thread, both receivers will probably end up on the PS.
Seems The Packers keep finding these guys, and let them develope at a slow pace.
With the number of veteran Te's down to 4, with Quarless being a ?, there may be room for 6 wr this year, one of these guys might impress enough to make it as a
Special Teams contributor.
I'm not trying to bring down the excitement level, but reality is, especially with wr's, it's going to take 2-3 years to develope into a quality starter, prob more with guys who are drafted in the 7th rnd.
Unless another team loses most of their wr's due to injury in pre-season, any ot these guys or all, will be safe on the PS.
Even if someone would get an offer, well it's pretty much been proven, these guys can be replaced.

Yerko;244856For shits and giggles, lets look at a "division 3" wide receiver currently in the league...Pierre Garcon. I quoted division 3 because as a former division 3 football player, I don't think its fair that Mt. Union is considered a division 3 school.
I started laughing when the Packers made this pick because it was one of two picks I got right in my 7 round mock draft (both players/rounds correct). I actually made the pick from a total nostalgia standpoint of Donald Driver being selected in the 7th round.
Anyways, maybe this kid does something great for the Packers in the future!!!
Great call Yerko.

I like how well he plays along the sidelines. Shows good football IQ utilizing blockers in front of him. There was one highlight that showed him turn his head, track the ball, then make a quick adjustment and burst to get to the ball.
