Barring an extreme turnaround this season by the Vikings, I don't think Chilly will last long this coming offseason.

I don't mind the guy.
What I do mind is his offense.
And his playcalls (if it's him calling them).
And his OC.
And some of his FA acquisitions.

I will say this, he has turned this team around when it comes down to their off field actions.

Just for that, he's a handful of notches above Tice.

Improving the off field drama for the Vikings ... that's like giving the worst player in the NFL last year the 'most improved player' award because he scored one TD this season.


Sorry, I forgot, Vikings fans might not follow what I'm saying. Which is this, when you're garbage, its not hard to clean up :P

In all seriousness though, when you have two great backs (Peterson, Taylor) and you bench your QB project after two games (Jackson) and you can only win games by using a veteran that's never held a starting job (Frerotte) and relying on stiff, at times lucky, defense (Winfield sack, strip of brees and blocked FG perfect catch TD) plus the fact that you're play calling sucks (Titans punting blunder) you deserve to be sacked as head coach. The only problem I see is who is better fit for the job right now? They might as well wait for the end of the season so they have a slew of coaches to turn to.
