Old Versus New
Jolly vs Boyd - Who secures a roster spot by the end of camp? I will be looking to see if Boyd separates himself early or if the competition remains stiff.
Do you really think it is either/or of those two? Boyd is NT all the way, and unless things have changed since he came back, Jolly is pretty much a 3-4 DE. I would think if Boyd looks good, it puts pressure on Pickett, while Jolly is in the mix with Daniels, Neal, Wilson, etc. for the second DE spot.

You know I was surprised when I heard it from reporters too. Is it 100% accurate? Who knows. How we see them is different from how the reporters see it which is different from how the coaches may see it and all of those things can change!
At this time, and based purely on numbers along the line, those two were lumped together by some reports I have read based on practice observations. Doesn't mean it will stay that way. As long as Pickett and Raji are both on this team though, the bigger guys fight that uphill battle I think.
