After last Sunday's heart breaker I'm just not emotionally ready to invest in this game.
I'll maybe start thinking about it on Sunday morning.
I may not even watch it as ruffed grouse season opens on the 15th and my Wire Haired Pointing Griffon named Troy is ready to go.
Plus I bought a new shotgun that I need to warm up.
The more I think about it, I think I'll just read about it on Packers Home.

It was obvious how rusty Griffin looked on the field last night. Bad mechanics and definitely not fully conditioned yet. So I imagine his play will only improve for this game.
With that said, I don't believe Griffin is as good as Kaepernick was this last week and with less weapons across the board. I liked everything I saw from our defense against a running QB except the safety play.
Unlike you yooper, I am not heart broke from the Niners game, I am encouraged and felt about as good as I ever could after watching the Packers lose a game.
Packers 31
Redskins 17

Packers:
Lots and lots of points.
46 sounds like a good number.
Redskins:
Not many points at all.
6, yeah, 6 sounds good.
Nothing against the Baylor kid.
I just think Shanahan's the most over-rated coach west of Pete Carroll.
6 sacks (CMIII, CMIII, Jolly, Jolly/Neal, Raji/CMIII, DJones),
3 INTs (Williams, Francois, Francois),
2 fumble recoveries (Jolly, Pickett) by the defense.
Rodgers 27-29, 4 TDs (Jones, Jones, Jones, Lacy), 333 yards.
Shocking the world, zero sacks.
Ross (if he gets a return opp): return TD.
Safety:
Jolly.
FGs (Crosby, 3-3):
32, 66 (ending first half after an interception), 49.

Do you guys think the overall defensive gameplan will vary much from the 49ers?
I saw it as nearly 100% containment on the QB with a focus on stopping the run.
Does Washington lend itself to the same sort of plan?

Ordinarily against RG3, sure.
But he didn't look like the same player last night.
The Eagles blitzed him like crazy and had great success.
He simply didn't look as fast, and not as effective as Kaepernick.
As a result, I don't see any way the Packers don't win this game.
The Redskins might make a run late, but fortunately, it will be too late.

While I think RG3 has the scrambling ability, I don't think it is much of the Skins gameplan anymore to protect that knee.
I think the Packers D still keep that containment in mind but have a lot more wiggle room this week compared to last week.

And as a result, I expect to see more pass rush.
Pass rush was not the Packers #1 goal against the 49'ers last week.
Containment was.
They hoped they could contain and get some pass rush, but that could have worked out better.
