wpr;275607just posting info on him. not too may rookies look as good in the NFL as they did in college.

I'm glad you posted it, I haven't seen that link.
I just wish we would have gone a different direction.
I don't think it's good value at the 21 spot.

So our dime package is going to be Burnett, Clinton-Dix, Shields, Williams, Hyde, and Hampton - with Davon House playing for whoever's injured that week.
It gets a lot worse around the league.

Hopefully Dix is very intelligent - just wish he was faster.
Nick Collins was sub 4.4 and Dix timed and 4.58 - that's a huge speed difference.
I think a lot of Packers fans took Collins for granted - we've been very spoiled at that position.

My hope for Dix is that he is solid and doesn't give up bone-head plays.

I think you and I are the only people who aren't happy with this pick... the tradition continues.
Taking need guys who are solid players in college.

The knock on him is he's a play fake biter... and that big time QB's might eat him up in the NFL.
Hmmm...haven't we seen that over and over again with our current crop?

Dude Colliins was HoF calibur, imo.
Dude had MADD skills.
You don't find players like that often.
4.5 is plenty for a S.
Hell, Jerry Rice and Greg Jennings both posted 4.5 at the combine.

I know someone, possibly even Philly would have picked him but I feel like safeties were overrated in this draft. Hope I'm wrong but I feel like the 1st round safeties were mainly reaches for need this year. Definitely not a best available in my opinion.

That's great, but he'll be defending guys like Megatron, Cordarrelle Patterson and Alshon Jeffery and Eric Ebron... all are a good deal faster... Ted got feisty with the charge that Dix ran a 4.62.
All this talk pre draft how we needed speed to stop guys like Kaepernick and we take a turtle.
I truly don't understand what TT does in Round 1.

wpr;275586I am tired of giving up the big plays.
hopefully he will help shut them down.
TE coverage is a huge plus.

Dix will be good against Bridgewater in MIN.

I haven't seen anything like this. Source?
Clinton-Dix is the most instinctive Safety in this draft. Doesn't jibe.

I think the most baffling thing to me is... FA was available to us to find a decent safety.
Anything would've been an upgrade considering we had MD Jennings there.
Instead of using FA to fill that need, we use our 1st rounder in a need pick.

He could be a fantastic pick...but this is one of the guys I just didn't want on this team.
