Hayward's lucky he didn't tear both hamstrings and break both ankles.
EDIT: Too bad he didn't take that one out instead of in... the out portion of the field was wide open and he had him leveraged that way.
Turning back in was kind of coming right back where Hayward could recover.
(I know the route is likely predetermined where he has no option, but man he had him back and to the inside...the outside of the field was clear)

Pretty impressive route at practice by Davante to school Hayward.
Though that's also impressive of Casey to recover like that after getting his ankles broken.
He was still in position to make a tackle.
Damn Adams made Hayward look like a chump though he did recover pretty well as you pointed out.
Just remember guys, he's our number FOUR receiver! [aiee]

gbguy20;276721Adams will not go higher than number 3 this season, barring injuries of course.
Which will inevitably occur.
It's not unreasonable to think that Adams could end up being the number one receiver, at least for a game or so, due to injuries.
I certainly hope not, but past on recent seasons, it's not an unreasonable prediction.
The Packers might have to march out Adams and Boykin as their #1 and #2 WR's for a little bit.
Yikes.

Adams will be a rookie this year.
He'll be acclimatizing to the game and whatnot.
That said, I still think he overtakes Boykin.
I have high hopes for Janis too.
I'd like to see Abbrederis take the season to add some bulk.
He'll probably get his shot as a return guy, but maybe come back next season looking like Jordy 2.0.

What does that say about a guy who many are counting on to be a top member of our secondary this season to be schooled by a rookie like that.
Just remember guys it was 1 play in a practice.

It says Hayward's injury seems sufficiently recovered.
He was the highest rated CB in the league for passer rating allowed in 2012. Hayward has his credentials. So it says a lot more about Adams.
