I think Boykin did look a little off last night but since it's pre-season I'm sure glad his off now & not when it's really going to count.
I expect him taking the 3rd spot but he will have challenge.
Here's two that might steal the last 2 spots.
Chris Harper: Love his size, all tho lacks speed but can make up for it.
Davante Adams: Lacks concentration but with the weather as bad as it was can't blame with a poor performance.

mi_keys;281500That usually goes without saying.
Good point
DarkaneRules;281501I was going on about that enough in the chat box. I was still annoyed about it today. Do those announcers actually do regular season games too? If so, wow.
I think they only call Titans preseason games...

According to reports, Harpers has been very inconsistent... has made a number of plays, but a number of mistakes as well. If he's able to cut out the mistakes he could become pretty good.

I wouldn't discount the wideouts and TEs in a game without Aaron Rodgers and with driving rain. And I think it's the last four after Nelson and Cobb, not just three.

I think Harper took a big step back.
3 drops,
1 was a wide open TD,
The other 2 would have gotten us a 1st down.

DarkaneRules;281479I am rooting for the guy. I just didn't notice him. Read some articles today and none of them mentioned him either. If he was involved, then I just missed him watching other people.
I'm more so rooting for him to spite someone else. I just want the overall roster to be vastly improved and don't much care if it was a 1st rounder or undrafted rookie that makes it happen.
The announcers were Kevin Harlan and Rich Gannon. They do Packer preseason games.
Harlan is fairly good, although I think he sounds like an AM Radio station at times.
Gannon has some good QB input, but that's about it.
I think some folks bag on announcers just because they thing it's vogue and don't actually pay attention or understand their responsibility.
In other words, it's the equivalent of ripping a Punter for not throwing a perfect spiral.

Understandable however coach loved the conditions. It gave them an opportunity to rise above. Well no one really did that, so for now they take a step back in my eyes. And you may be right about the final roster but they be better served to keep 5 and stash another prospect on the PS.

They weren't the announcers for the game that aired on the NFL Network.
It was Eddie George and someone else.
I actually didn't think they were horrible, for a preseason game.
They were fair, seemed to have a knowledge of many of the players from both teams, and quickly identified the player and what school they were from.
I've seen much worse from preseason announcers.

I've been a big fan of Gannon in the past as an announcer. I bit boring but he lays back and lets the game be the entertainment and doesn't try to upstage it which I really like.
But those aren't the announcers I was complaining about... I got the Titans announcers which were Cory Curtis and Eddie George... and I thought they struggled compared to in season announcers.
