You most likely have noticed our traditional ShoutBox that was above the forum index has been gone for the last few days. It has been replaced by what you see on the upper left of your screen (providing you have a screen resolution greater than 1024x768).

The old ShoutBox queries the database every second, even if there was nothing new to display. This was causing a lot of unnecessary database hits and slowing the site down.

Last night I threw together the Fan Shout to replace the ShoutBox.

The GameDay Chat uses the old ShoutBox and will be enabled on days of a special event. (e.g. Packers games, Draft days, etc ....)

I've attached a screen shot to show you what it looks like on a 1366x768 screen resolution.

If you want to change your screen resolution.

since my tweets and recent posts are at the bottom of my page I assume my resolution isn't that high.
Does that mean I wont have the fan box or that it too will be at the bottom of the page?

You must be using 800x600 or 1024x768 then. Ramp that resolution up!!

Currently, the column on the left is simply hidden on smaller resolutions. So you will not see it.

It should be a simple fix to change the resolution but I can't seem to find where to make the adjustment.

I was trying to change the resolution in firefox and not widows.

It didn't help. I am 1366 x 768 already.

Click your FireFox browser window to put it in focus and then at the same time hit CTRL + 0 and that should reset your zoom. If not, try holding CTRL and scrolling up/down.
