We both beat up on the Panthers pretty good. This may very well come down to who has the better defense. I give that edge to the Eagles for sure. Hopefully we get some turnovers from our defense. That should tilt matters in our favor.

There's no reason the Packers shouldn't win this game. As long as the offense moves the ball and scores early, Caper's defense will trick Dirty Sanchez into a few mistakes. If the offense struggles for some reason, things could be tight, but I don't think they will. Not at home.

Punt the ball out of bounds (or just don't punt), and hopefully Crosby can kick the ball out of the end zone on kickoffs. Their Special Teams shouldn't be THAT hard to contain because they can only really return what the Packers allow them to.

McCoy and Sproles will likely score in this game. Probably Mathews, too. But if the Packers can get an early lead, they should win by 10-14 points.

I'm not so sure Dinosaur-Dom can keep up with Chip's youngster speedy offense.

That 30th run D is going to be tested.

I have to think we load the box to try and stop the run and dare Sanchez to beat us in the air.
My only concern is Celek is a pretty damn good weapon that hits us where we are weakest.
I think we win, but I don't think Flynn will get himself any playing time this week.

Rockmolder;291215I feel like this one might become a track meet. I just hope that we're the ones leading, in that case. That way, you can put some pressure on Sanchez and force him to make mistakes.

Few of the most important things for me are these:

- I feel like this one might become a track meet. Both are up tempo offences. I just hope that we're the ones leading, in that case. That way, you can put some pressure on Sanchez and force him to make mistakes. He was quite decent this week, but I'm not convinced he'll look that good when he has to shoulder the load.

- Connor Barwin vs Aaron Rodgers. Barwin for 3.5 sacks against the Panthers and has 10.5 on the season. While that's rather impressive, it's not what I'm afraid of most. A lot of his sacks, especially last night, came on QB spy plays. If he manages to keep Rodgers in the pocket, he's going to be a lot less effective than he usually is. I just hope that we can block him and/or Rodgers can get away in those situations.

- Packers defense vs Brent Celek. We've been notoriously bad against TEs. Sanchez likes throwing to Celek, even in coverage. If we can get good coverage here, there'll be some opportunities for interceptions at best or a lot of incompletions at worst.

- Run defence vs McCoy. Our run defence has been awful against everyone but Forté. I'm hopeful that the switch from Matthews to the middle will keep working the way it did last week, but keeping containment against a team like the Eagles might be a bit harder than against the Bears.

I'm fairly certain our offense can keep up, as long as our defense makes just a few stops. Chip Kelly might be an offensive mastermind, but he doesn't have Aaron Rodgers.

Great list. One other item I would add to that is how many long pass plays the Eagles give up, which happens to be a specialty of Rodgers and Nelson.

Birthdays have been good for the Packers this year. Slaughter of the Vikings on my birthday. Slaughter of the Bears on my son's birthday. Today is a lock then because of you Mucky.

Game played at Lambeau--------Advantage Packers

Rodgers vs Sanchez-------Advantage Packers

Nelson, Cobb, Adams vs Maclin, Cooper, ????----Advantage Packers

Lacy vs McCoy------Advantage Packers

The only area I see Philly having any advantage at all(and it is slight) is the return game.

Might be a 1st team to 50 wins, but I guess I have more confidence in The Packers D.

Packers 44 Eagles 23

EDIT:
Just saw where it is Mucky's Birthday!!!!!

Packers need this game and it can set the tone for a payoff run...I'm thinking bad Sanchez shows up in cold weather and the Packers roll 38-17
